Key points for clearance adjustment of screw air compressor exhaust end |
|
|
One of the key technologies in maintenance is the adjustment of the exhaust clearance, which directly affects the performance of the compressor. Excessive clearance will reduce the efficiency of the compressor, resulting in insufficient gas output, power can not reach, will cause overheating and automatic shutdown of the machine; too small clearance, even if the temporary normal operation, a long time, after the shaft pump wear, it is easy to make the rotor end face and exhaust cover friction, damage the main engine. Therefore, when adjusting the gap, we should pay attention to the following points:
(1) When measuring the clearance, the exhaust cover and the shell should be bolted together, otherwise the accuracy of the measured value will be affected.
(2) jack up the screw, jack into the bearing after the solid, and ensure that the bearing has been in place, with the bearing inner ring cover after compression to loosen the jack.
(3) Install a dial gauge at the exhaust end so that the dial probe is jacked on the shaft end, adjust the dial pointer to zero, and jack up until the dial index is no longer increased, then the reading should be in the range of 0.05-0.08. If it is not in this area, remove the re adjusting shim until it meets the requirement.
(4) Measure the end runout of the inner ring (exhaust end) of the bearing after loading the bearing, install a dial gauge, put the dial probe on the inner ring of the bearing, rotate the rotor one circle by hand, depending on the swing of the dial pointer, the value should be within 0.01 mm, otherwise check whether the outer ring of the bearing is in place or whether there is any miscellaneous in the bearing and the bearing seat ring. Quality.
Install the bearing cap, tighten the cap bolt, install the dial, Jack the dial probe on the bearing inner ring cap, test the bearing clearance, this clearance should be in the range of 0.015-0.03 mm, if not in this range, can adjust the thickness of the steel gasket on the bearing cap until it meets the requirements. Note that this gap is too high. After the machine runs, the bearing is easily jammed or even damaged.
